Today closes on the first day of our week with Lukie boy. His parents are on their first vacation in way too long. They work hard and he keeps them busy at night, so this is a nice time for just the two of them.
They are heading south, in July, expecting high temps so thought it best to keep Lucas home. Their destination is Jensen Beach. Hoping they like it as well as we do! Here is what our day looked like for mom & dad!
Day 1
Well, we had a pretty good day, nothing special, but we had a good meal with friends at Cracker Barrel, then walked over to our neighbors, Pam & Frank, and played with their friend Asher (2 yrs). I know there will be many times this week you (Jason & Rosemary) will say "we wish Lucas was here" but there will be times when you are eating in peace:) or waiting for whatever, you will be glad he is here! I know for a fact, you will be SO ready to come home!
