Today is February 25th. We are almost into our third month at Holiday Out for 2016. The time is going too fast. We thank God above for each day and for the good health we enjoy. We know, even in our own family circle, not each of us are able to walk at this time. One is facing yet another knee surgery. I know she would love to be able to walk without pain (or walk period). We do not know what tomorrow will bring, but we are enjoying the moment. We think of, pray for, and remember our family and friends at home each day.
Tuesday morning, Feb. 23rd, while Martha & Clyde's mom visited we three went over for sunrise.
This was a surprise. We needed some dirt to build up some low parts in the back. Dennis T. put in pavers this week, so we took his soil. This was while his mom was here, so Clyde worked on it while Martha & I went to the beach. I did help take out the roots!
These (above) were the last photos from Clyde's mom & sister's visit. GiGi enjoyed going out for dinner. She had such a struggle getting in and out of our place. She also had trouble getting into our bed. Other than that, she rested and watched TV or looked out the windows and seemed to like being in Florida.
This was such a treat! Our next door neighbors (home), Sandra & Larry came to visit for the day. We went to eat at Sauder's Landing and rode around the park in the Traynor's golf cart. A nice day, although it was a bit coolish (sun was warm).
At the back of our park we can ride our bikes and see the sunset. This was taken today, Feb. 25th.
As I walked the beach this week, I truly used the time to pray for my niece, Beth. I love seeing footprints in the sand and think of the poem with that title. Knowing, even when you feel like you are walking alone, you're not. When there are only one set of footprints, God is carrying you.
