Clyde's Birthday

Today is day 4 of Lucas' stay at nan & paps house while mom & dad take a much needed vaca.  He has been very good, although he is getting meds for an ear infection.  He is playing, eating everything you give him, and sleeping well.  

July 5th, Clyde's birthday.  With the last few months of his pain in the abdomen, and then finding he has gallstones, then surgery this week, his birthday slipped upon us.  We are so thankful that this was discovered and taken out.  It was very infected and non-functioning.  Thank God it did not rupture.  Amen

 The photos above are here to remind me about how weak Clyde has been and how good our friends have been.  To remind me to pay it forward! After surgery, no lifting....and I buy a BIG pot!  Now, we had a co-worker of his (and friend) offer to follow us home to take it out.  Oh, no we will get someone to do it, but thanked him for the offer.  After being in the car for several days, knocking around back there, our good neighbor, Frank came over to do it and look at that bowl of fruit he brought!  Did I mention Lucas LOVES fruit!!!

 Lucas never lacks for attention at Aunt Becky & Uncle Jason's house!  Austin LOVES him!!  He asks often when can they see Lucas.  Then when we come he says "look how big he is now"!  They all want to hold him, help him, play with him.

Well, before mom asks "how's my boy" I will post this blog.  Mom & dad, he was great at his cousin's house.  He even took a nap (a 2nd one) which helped him stay up late and be happy!  We came home, took a bath, and straight to bed!  Night night!
