This may have been Matthew's first slide in homeplate. As far as I know anyway! Safe:)
Maggie has a couple of friends....first game, I hope they play well together this long season!
Matthew up first batter at their first game. He started shortstop.
Slugger Austin hit the ball hard and drove in a run to bring them within one point. He ran the bases and was the tying run to end the game, Mets 15 Red Sox 15.
